People Now Prefer Republicans

The GOP gained two points this week, while the Democrats lost a point in support.I kept telling you all to be patient as Democrats were going to be Democrats and overreach.

Last September we were all told the GOP was dead, the party’s philosophy was rejected, Bush killed the party, etc. What a difference 150 or so days makes….

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 41% would vote for their district’s Republican candidate while 38% would choose the Democrat. Thirty-one percent (31%) of conservative Democrats said they would vote for their district’s Republican candidate.

Like I said, let’s have torture hearings. Let the Dems grow government, raise taxes on everyone, force people into government healthcare, stifle free speech and eliminate private ballots. Let the try and run businesses and determine who should be hired and fired. Let them escalate Afghanistan without an exit strategy. Let them have everything they can get. America is stronger than Barack Obama.

And when November 2010 comes along, the people will really know the difference between Democrats and Republicans, and will hopefully vote for what’s in their best interests for years.

    HEY,OldnyFirefighter
Hawaii is democrat. Has been for while. Since it became a state. At present we have republican gov. She might as well be a democrat. Hawaii has a long and wonderful history with the Clintons and early money for the “third senator from Hawaii”. It is not very business friendly. and is the home to many “environmentalist” VERY socialistic leanings.

I think it funny that Olympia Snowe was saying that the GOP has moved too far right and was stating that they should look to her on how to get elected in Democrat controlled areas citing that in her 75% Democrat district, she got elected. I don’t think she understands that she got elected by Democrats….because she IS ONE! Albeit calling herself a Republican. She needs to just go ahead and make it official like Specter.

Hank’s missed his calling! Nice Limerick, even if it’s a clean one!

Yesterday Obama’s Legal Teams told the SCOTUS they need another 20 days to straighten out the Birth Certificate Thing. The Law says they have 60 days & they are already (I think) 114 days so far. They argued it isn’t their fault & asked for another 20 day extension to answer the Suit. I may be wrong, but I think they are concocting up another fake & need more time to age the paper it is on & create a unquestionable Vault Birth Certificate that is probably just as fake as the one on his web site. His Democrap conspirators are probably helping him with the fake end run around his real one on file in Hawaii. From what I have been able to find out, Hawaiian Officials ain’t quite squeaky clean either. We might have to wait until the next Election to either eject him or at least find out the truth. In talking to about twenty people today, 80% think he isn’t eligible & 6 were Libs. People are starting to find out he ain’t what he said he was. Louie, Chrysler & probably GM will be canned & thousands will lose their jobs. Thousands more in support Companies as well. This Administration could screw up a Fart Factory!

there will be no torture hearings.
the only purpose of this is to keep the word *torture* and *bush* out there together in the same sentence.
    nothing more.

and will hopefully vote for what’s in their best interests for years.

by the time 2010 rolls around, the US will be more socialist than any other country in the world. with chrysler going 11, the gov’t will now own both, along with the UAW, will constitute a voting block that will make voting look like a waste of time. that it will be.
looking at 2010, of the contested seats in the senate, not the seats deemed safe, i see the jackass party picking up 3 possibly 4 seats.
north carolina, missouri, florida will flip to the jackasses. new hampshire is a possible.

There are actually a couple of R’s a bit further astray than Specter. Slate, of all folks, did this facebook-style interconnectedness thing that shows who votes with whom the most.

    It’s fascinating.

Good news, 1 down: Spectre is out!

Now if we can weed out the remaining pretenders, we will, once again, have a party and public servants that represent the people.

In a word: “propaganda.” This has been evident for the last 8 years. It is no wonder that people who cannot distinguish between the roles of congress and executive, would ascribe guilt to Bush and, by association, the Republicans.

    Not withstanding:

    Schumer on IndyMac (and WaMu?):

    Frank on Fannie, Freddie:
    “Too Big to Fail”

It seems that Schumer toppled the first domino…

    But, where were the Republicans:

    One hundred days of bliss
Rain or shall we say piss?
    On the taxpayers’ back
    A porculus pack
And a slap in the face is a kiss?

When a company does something distasteful
    Stupid, dangerous, or fraudulently wasteful
    Folks get the boot
    And the point becomes moot
Cause the market place becomes most ungrateful

    Should the government do likewise
Get a blizzard of evasions and lies
    To a gullible mind
    The denizens so blind
Look the serpent in the eyes

Charge wounded vets for health care
Test balloons that float in the air
When we don’t speak our mind
    And retreat in kind
So emboldened what else will they dare?

No surprise to us gun loving types
With our bibles and our gripes
    Bout the state of affairs
    Our concerns and our cares
While the left’s smoking weed from their pipes

a excerpt from one of my rants at KDH. I see you’re on top of your game as always, hadn’t taken the time to stop by for awhile, whenever I do my blood pressure gets a good jolt. As always thanks for continuing daily in the trenches. With Utmost Respect ~ Semper Fi, Hank

Dem’s complain call it there right and there Duty.
    Dem’s gain control and power.
Dem’s continue doing what people complain RINO’s where doing.
    Conservatives don’t vote RINO’s in.
    RINO’s convert to become Dem’s
Conservatives only people let in the Rep party.
    Conservatives protest.
    Conservatives mock by left.
    Conservatives mocked by the President.
Conservatives told to keep their mouth shut.

and that is just the past few months… Now I understand the rush by Dem’s they only have a year and half to do everything they have always wanted to do!

@Trishmac – as a computer programmer and network admin, I am continually amazed at the levels of idiocy and general foolishness I see with computer users. These are often systems that these people are intimately familiar with. Unfortunately, I’m not holding my breath for the unwashed Obamabots to change their tune.

However, with that said, I do have true hope that the tea parties are an indication that there are enough real people that are starting to pay attention and want to make a difference, to effect a change to common sense.

Now that’s hope and change I can get behind, not this smoke and mirrors that the media portrays.

  13. Trishmac says:

I sure hope you’re right Bob about the 2010 elections. I really can’t believe that people can be fooled all of the time!

  14. Nick says:

I’m still amazed people voted for a DEMOCRAT, albeit illegally, especially when Congress’s approval rating was once 9%

People will be RUNNING to us, come 2010 and whenever the next election is, pending Soetoro’s ouster
