President Obama’s people said he wasn’t going to make a big deal of the non-official 100 day milestone, but hasn’t admonished the media for going ga-ga. Then the president announces he’s going to speak to us via a May sweeps, primetime news conference.
All is not as rosy as the media has declared, then again, what else is new…
Gallup reports that 56% of the public believes that Obama is doing an excellent/good job. Gallup reported 62% approved of George W. Bush’s job performance after the first 100 days.
Now justify these headlines:
Gallup: First-100-Days-Obama-Meets-Exceeds-Expectations.
USAToday: Poll: Public thinks highly of Obama
Chicago Tribune: Obama riding high in polls
I can’t believe the media has such comptempt for us that they’ll boldfaced lie over and over, and then lament the fact that they’re going out of business and no one cares.
I hope Obama was worth it.

They still lie because for a lot of people, they remain the only source of news, and thus they think they can shape reality for those people.
And he is exceeding my expectations, but only because I had none. Screwing things up as much as I thought he would apparently exceeds his meager skill set.
Pathological liars cannot do anything but lie, even if the situation has no logical implications for doing so.
good lord…The Gallup, USA Today, AND Chicago Tribune polls ALL say he’s “doing well”? Damn it.. yellow journalism at it’s finest. Just what did they EXCEED at doing ANYWAY? Crippling the country so they read their “civilian national defense force to come marching through cities and taking it over for the socialists state?!
Steady now, hold yer fire, don’t shoot ’til you see the whites of their eyes…
