Was Napolitano’s Apology To Vets Sincere?

Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland SecurityAs we all know, a memo was leaked out of the Department of Homeland Security warning law enforcement officials that disgruntled veterans may join right-wing extremist groups. Be it economic troubles or racism against the first black president, vets need be watched.

According to the Washington Times, an “FBI report found 159 veterans with ‘confirmed or claimed’ military service active in Aryan, skinhead, Ku Klux Klan or other white supremacist groups from a period between October 2001 and May 2008, from among nearly 24,000 veterans, a number it described as ‘minuscule.’”

By my math, that comes out to a 0.006625 average.

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano has “apologized”, but we also know that when it comes to politics, apologies are only issued when one is caught.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Napolitano has simply feigned apology to the loudest complainers: military veterans. She remains unapologetic toward the rest of the people who take offense.

Our liberties to think and freely express ourselves are in jeopardy. When it comes to a free society, we either stand together or hang separately.

I recommend the action items highlighed in the following article. Let’s make this DHS report as meaningless as our local phone directory:

She’s a dem. The only thing sincere about a dem is their lust for power.
