Tea Party Organizers and Attendees are Redneck Racists

While filling in for Andrew Wilkow Friday April 10, 2009, George from Georgia had this to say about the Tax Day Tea Party organizers and attendees….

Oh, and by the way… fill-in host David Webb is… black.

David Webb sure left that male version of Janeane Garofalo speechless, didn’t he?

  2. Kushin Los Says:

Nice. That must have been painful.

Notice the silence. LOL. Good on David for calling him out. And he’s right…usually the ones that mock, name call, etc. usually don’t have much of an argument.

As far as the “where were you 8 years ago”? Where are the Bush protesters now? Not to mention, it takes a while for a kettle to start to boil, and when you’re promised “change”, I don’t think people were thinking what is left over in their pockets after the government is done raping them.

And, personally, for me, it’s more than just the spending…it is the nationalist direction we’ve been heading. Bush wasn’t any better, imo, but at the time I was too young to even pay attention. But now I’m older, and a little more aware, especially with a kid on the way. It was ultimately things like the Patriot Act and finally the “GIVE” Act (those two sound so wonderful, don’t they?) and the desire for mandatory service that got me boiling.

Everyone will eventually reach a point where enough is enough. But, at this point, I have to wonder, “Is it enough”?

I am going to be optimistic and hope that the caller had the stupid cluebatted out of him.

  6. Mauser Says:

Well, he probably shut off the call at that point….

    But he’s right.

I only have one word say…..BEAUTIFUL!

  8. robertkulbeth Says:

    Man.
David shut him up in a hurry.
    Awesome.

  9. tsiya Says:

Redneck yes, racist, Hell no! How dare these people stereotype me?

You have confirmed that current concerns are not divided between “blacks” and “whites.” The issues we are facing affect all people. It is a choice between being led and controlled, or reasonable liberty living in a society.

As a “white” man with blue eyes, it is disconcerting that I have to rely on others to support my views; but, it could be worse. This is not a case of my enemy’s enemy is my friend, but a fellow human being whom I can respect and can cooperate with on equal terms.

There are people who are, and have been, pursuing a divisive strategy, which only benefits them. These people are pretenders, they are of light skin and dark skin, from both religious and political organizations, and operate through manipulation of our emotions and fears. They do not understand, or choose to exploit, our lives. They are manipulating all of us. They distort and obscure history, they distort and obscure the present, and they have an insatiable desire to distort, and or destroy, our future.

There are 6 billion people in this world, whom we will never meet in one lifetime, let alone befriend; but, there is no difference we cannot overcome, if we choose to respect each other. We must accept our differences, both economical and societal. We will not all be, cannot all be, and may choose not to be, an actor, an athlete, a scientist, a musician, etc. We all have our limits, we all have our hopes and desires.

The western countries, and the United States of America in particular, have generated more wealth and elevated more people throughout the world (e.g., China, India, etc.) than has ever occurred in history. This is a time unmatched by any other, when everyone has an opportunity to strive for a position through hard work, perseverance, and collaboration with others to promote an entrepreneurial spirit.

The purpose of life, at least for me, is strive to be better than I am; to share the joys, and miseries, with family and friends; to contribute to the society within which I live; to be self-sufficient in order to help my self and others; and all of this will remain true until there is reason to change. The challenges in life build our character and make us stronger, and the alternatives ensure weak minds, bodies, and spirit.

So, thank you David for focusing on reality and our lives on Earth, rather than fantasy and propaganda, which has mislead and controls, apparently, so many.

The revolution begins at home. Teach your children to respect others, enable them to strive for more, and help them choose a life they can enjoy and accept without regrets.

a mosquito spies an unsuspecting victim. it charges toward him at full speed, drool flowing off the tip of its proboscis. as it nears the man, it is stunned by an invisible wall. a windshield wiper proceeds to disembowel the mosquito and spread it like paint across the windshield.
