Why I’m Glad Fox News Isn’t Like CNN

No CNNIn the aftermath of the Tea Parties that the mainstream media advertised as a Fox News creation, the obvious sentiment is that Fox was not as sensible and professional as CNN, MSNBC, and the rest.

Personally, for that I’m glad because they would never produce a segment like one CNN did last year…

If Fox had (and maybe it’s just me), there would probably be hundreds of viewers emailing in complaints, while CNN thought this segment was informative and cool.

the CBC and local media out here didn’t do much better than CNN. “La Presse” used shock quotes from people such as “obama’s a fascist” and reminded readers that Obama had lowered taxes for most people, reminded that Reagan and Bush hiked the national debt during their tenures, etc…

I haven’t done on the CBC’s website yet, but on the french-language all-day news channel they pretty much did the same CNN-ish act. At least though they were just “reporting” what the american news outlets were putting out, and obviously they weren’t reporting Fox.

At least though i haven’t seen any comments about “hate”, but they tagged the protests as “conservative” and “promoted by Fox”

I realize that in ordinary civilised discourse, the first party to call the other a Nazi has lost. Thes are not ordinary times, though, and our current political and economic situation is far from ordinary.

Consider the attached document and ask yourself how much of it describes you. It could certainly be deemed to describe the governors of Texas and North Carolina, perhaps many others as well. Then reflect on the following:

    1) One of the characteristics of the Nazis’ and fascists’ (communists’, too) rise to power was the use of mass demonstrations. These were not spontaneous, local events, but were planned in meticulous detail, lavishly funded and executed with precision. The ‘demonstrators’ were often transported in by the thousands. On occasion the drama was palpable, with stunning lighting and other effects, songs, slogans, perfect timing — political theater at its best.

    2) The use of symbols associated with the party or its leader.

    3) The use of deliberate election fraud.

    4) Once in office, they lost no time in consolidating their power. They extended the influence and control of the state (that is, themselves) into area of life hitherto untouched by that power. In particular, they quickly began exercising control over private enterprise.

    5) They quickly identified ‘enemies of the state’ and began moving against them (see dhs_rwe.pdf document elsewhere on this site).

    5) Of course, they eventually banned the private ownership of firearms.

None of this has been seen in this country before, at least not by this generation. At what point do we admit the similarities between the Obama campaign and the Nazi rise to power? At what point to we admit the similarities between the early days of their administration and the first part of this one?

    Time to wake up.

If you want a good laugh, read the comments on CNN coverage of the “Tea Parties”. The Libs have absolutely no idea the POTUS is not a US Citizen or that we are headed to a Socialistic Government. They still want to blame everything on Bush. Someone pointed out the Dems. have had control of Congress since 2006 & did nothing during that time. They made the point that Obama has never said he wants to ban handguns or will outlaw guns & ammo or tax them out of existence. I am beginning to think these people live on a different Planet than the rest of us. If these paople stay in power, god help us. If they continue on their present path, Australia’s outback is starting to look pretty inviting. Most of these people don’t even know there is a question about Obama’s eligibility to serve or that there are lawsuits to prove or disprove these facts. The Libs all answered that he is a Citizen or he wouldn’t have been elected! The planet of Obomanation, where everything is 180 degrees from what is seems to be & lies become truth.

the garbage “league of first time voters” was a joke, just like the whole “black in america” thing, or how Larry King said he “wished he could be black”, oh and the classic – Rick Sanchez BAFFLED at Black Republicans of all things. STOP THE PRESSES!
Jeeze, no wonder they’re suffering a slow death
