The ‘tea parties’ being held today by groups of right-wing activists, and fueled by FOX News Channel, are an effort to mislead the public about the Obama economic plan that cuts taxes for 95 percent of Americans and creates 3.5 million jobs.
It’s despicable that right-wing Republicans would attempt to cheapen a significant, honorable moment of American history with a shameful political stunt. Not a single American household or business will be taxed at a higher rate this year. Made to look like a grassroots uprising, this is an Obama bashing party promoted by corporate interests, as well as Republican lobbyists and politicians.

FOX News seems to be the only one seeking the story behind the protests and it is a shame that their desire to deliver the news to its customers have made the protests seem to be sponsored by them. Perhaps a clarification would help a little to dissuade that belief.

I don’t know about everyone else but in Houston we were bashing Republicans as well for thier part in the fiasco. Also Texas Governor Rick Perry said in Austin yesterday that if things get much worse Texans may start thinking of succesion

What am I sayin’?! Of course there isn’t! Steal the nomination from poor Hillary (google ‘obama caucus fraud’ to see how and where), lie to everyone about eligibility, take illegal foreign contributions (10% of his total fund), appoint a herd of tax cheats to cabinet positions (OK, not all of them cleared the hurdle, but Tiny Tim did), muscle in on private enterprise (a fascist, not socialist model), and this is just the beginning.
The only step they haven’t taken is to grab control of all the media — yet. That’s not essential right now because the MM has been in their pocket for decades. Watch for moves to muzzle uncooperative media, though. We got a preview of coming attractions during the campaign when Obama blacklisted the Washington Times and the Dallas Morning News because they endorsed McCain. Now they’re telling reporters which questions they can ask.
It’s not writing that’s on the wall. It’s a flashing neon sign and a loudspeaker blaring ‘Long live Big Brother!’

I love all this negative attention… What would have been a one day event that would have never been remembered is now going to grow thanks to liberals who don’t get it. I hope the Liberals keep up the trash talking, it is only going to fuel the fire and make this grow and keep it fresh in peoples minds.
