Yaz: Brand Confusion

The only Yaz I knew was the one I went to see at Fenway as a kid…
Yaz or Carl Yastrzemski
And remember,

YAZ contains a different kind of hormone, drspĀ® (drospirenone), which may increase potassium. Therefore, you should not take YAZ if you have kidney, liver, or adrenal disease because this could cause serious heart and health problems. Women who take certain drugs should have their potassium levels checked in the first month of taking YAZ.

I guess it was a different time.

the side effects of todays pharma would have been grounds for hospitalization a couple of decades ago.
this advertisement is way to slick for medical products, but this is where they are going.
the first advertisement came out as correcting something that no one had heard of before. just sort of an, oh BTW, type of commercial.

I remember when I first noticed drug ads that say, “Tell your doctor you need Xxxxxxx!”

The girl in the ad’s kinda cute though. I’d say Yaz to her…. :-)
