CNN Sends In… Susan Who?

While Fox News’ coverage of the national tea parties included their first team anchors, a CNN Chicago segment was reported by a little leaguer.

I think you get the general tenor of this. It’s anti-government, anti-CNN since this is highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox.
Susan Roesgen, CNN

Following White House talking points, CNN, MSNBC, and the usual suspects attempted to marginalize the tea parties as a right-wing, reality Fox News production. However, they may find out the hard way that Fox News already has viewers and by dissing the people at the gatherings, they stand to gain even more that will never watch CNN again.

Wow, how can CNN and the crew call themselves reporters. I knew there was a reason I stopped watching CNN. That makes me so mad.

She pulled the lawyer tactic of not allowing the guy to finish his speech, running him over with her own, and then promoting her own uninformed opinions as fact.

The fact is, erosion of our rights and theft of income has been going on for years and years and years. It was accelerated with Bush and his administration and he opened up a can of worms with the Patriot Act that allowed for all sorts of rights-stomping.

Now, with Obama, it’s allowed for a blatant, in-your-face quick-acting move toward ultimate socialism. From the Give Act, which they still haven’t given up on mandatory service, to spending (and printing–I know they talked about it, but not sure they’ve done it yet) trillions of dollars that will most likely lead to hyperinflation. And Obama, who made campaign promises of no broken campaign promises, started breaking his within days of officially taking office.

I just hope this doesn’t die down. It’s about time. But I have to question, “Is it too late?”

I like how she tries to throw the guy off center by mentioning that he may be eligible for a $400 tax credit. Anyone else think of that sweepstakes Ed McMann used to promote?

He starts talking about Lincoln and she asks what that has anything to do with taxes. LOL, it’s about more than taxes sweetheart. Though that is a good question since Lincoln was the President who imposed the first income tax in 1862. That administration, to get it to stand up “constitutionally”, called its income levy an excise tax, calling what was definitely a direct tax an indirect one. The last of its parts ended in 1872 just in time for the depression from 1873 to 1876. (http://mises.org/etexts/rootofevil.asp and its followup chapters)

While the camera was aimed at the Atlanta Tea Party on Hannity tonight I saw a huge sign that said, “CNN Sucks”!

CNN missed a brilliant opportunity to cover an even more raucous event at UNC when Tom Tancredo spoke there. But those were liberals making all the racket. Not the droids CNN was looking for.
