Just because environmentalists tell you polar bears are these helpless, drowning cuties, doesn’t mean you should climb into their pen and give ‘em a hug.

Despite six zookeepers’ efforts to distract the four predators kept in the enclosure, the woman was bitten several times on her arms and legs.
What were ya thinkin’?

Just another example of people who live their life believing that nature is some Disney-esque place where all the animals get along and sing and dance and frolic.
polar bears are still bears, period. just as fierce as forest bears. sure they can be cute when they’re calm & docile, and the cubs are cute, but the only polar bear I’d hug is the stuffed animal kind if anything..
On the other hand, the bear sez he always wondered what one of them tasted like…
We did note that the bear spit it back out.
Maybe we should put leashes on them, so 1) they don’t do stupid stuff like this, and 2) so they can be like the animals they love so dearly
Gene pool…shallow end?
Will the bear be destroyed? That would be ironic.
As Ron White has stated…..”You can’t fix stupid”!
Darwin in action. Bonehead? No. Dumb ass? Hell yeah!
Didn’t she read the news on how “Global Warming” is causing the Polar Bears to go hungry because of not being able to hunt for food?????
HA!
Bob, There has to be a video of this out there somewhere. That would be awesome!!
@Master Gunner,
There is, it’s in the article if you scroll down some
Chris, Tut, you both have that one right. I have seen Polar Bears close up & they sure as hell ain’t Teddy Bears. They are more dangerous than a Grizzly or Kodiac & just as big if not bigger. Unlike the other two, they will not hesitate to attack a human. On occasion they will even shake the Tundra Buggies in Alaska & would eat the people on them if they had a chance. They eat mainly Seals & Walrus, but would probably find a human a tasty morsel. Unlike Grizzly’s they have absolutely no fear of man.
Hungry Bear + brain dead human = good entertainment for the spectators. Somewhere I read that Grizzlies, Kodiak, Polar bears are all related. They all seem to enjoy eating humans. They must love the squealing and begging for mercy. If you believe grizzly bears fear humans you are two things, dumb and food. Grizzlies love joggers, bicyclists, folks in tents, backpackers
This sounds familiar.
