thanks for the link on Mr. Basso, Bob

also, I still have a hard time calling Arnold a “RINO”. Still hoping he can do a good job for my state. Call it “favoritism” I suppose, maybe just because he’s MY governor & being that I voted FOR him. Just pissed that people turn down his efforts to jump start the state..too many liberal voters, I swear.

regarding McCain, I still think didn’t QUITE blow it, he was bowled over by O’s millions, the same “race factor” as Deval Patrick, and that people were taking by O’s plagiarism & “cult of personality”

edit: I meant people were “taken” by O’s plagiarism & “cult of personality”

  3. Mauser says:

One problem with the Paine performance, is he invokes God, when Paine’s largest work was anti-religion.

  4. fboiteau says:

Indeed, he is one of the earliest (if not the earliest) proponents that Christ is simply a reinterpretation of the Sun God…

  5. Ilion says:

It’s healthy and proper to distrust government … our ancestors called it “being jealous of our liberties” … and so, in that regard, the video was good, or at least OK. However, some of the points and recommendations were just warmed-over populism and some were “liberal” talking points.

For instance, abolishing the Electoral College is both warmed-over populism and a disguised “liberal” power-grab, and dangerous. The Electoral College is a prime reason that the really terrible nut-cases amongst the political class have such a hard time getting to the presidency.
