Racism is racism, no matter the race of the racist. And cutting off your nose to spite your face racism is just plumb stupid.
There are days I want to weep for my country.
Months, Mary Ann, Months on end.
It’s so much more satisfying to fool yourself into believing that your social failure is someone’s fault.
People who oppose the idea of police putting criminals in jail illustrate that clearly.
Back when I was a no good loser I use to hate the police.
Now that I cleaned myself up, became conservative, and pushed myself into personal responsibility, I now know I should have loved the police all along.
Because now the police help protect people like me from the people who are like what I used to be : social leeches.
I’m living proof that A.A., a head full of Rush Limbaugh, and personal responsibility get you a whole lot farther in life than people protesting police on a street corner in Oakland.
One day, I pray, liberals will stop belonging to “communities” (racial, sexual, religious…) and start thinking of themselves as individuals who can rise above everyone else.
Once that happens, we’ll be doing fine.
Thanks Robert for speaking from experience. I think our young black men need to spend more time in school focusing on math and science and less on music which corrupts. Most music targeted at black youth fills their minds with anti-society thoughts.
For those blacks who think society is out to get them, I remember a black lady in DC who told me that her family expected her to work twice as hard as whites to stay ahead. Now that is the work ethic that benefits blacks, and that keeps them in the community and out of jail.
Whites look at blacks in a condescending manner and excuse all kinds of black behavior while these same whites would find apalling if whites were doing it.
Yeah, with rate of balck-on-black crimes I’d be out there bitching about the police too. To cops, that constant bitching and picketing of them is code for “please ignore our communities while we continue to rob, kill, and sling drugs to each other, and the cops will be more than happy to oblige (see Cincninnati and a million other cases for testimonials).
The democrat party loves that good victim mentality.
Occupying force? Ok. I say we pull out any law enforcement out of oakland. Lets see how long till they start crying for the police to come back.
