The Steele Doctrine
If you’re going to call yourself a Republican, act like one, or else….
Yesterday on Fox News, RNC Chairman Michael Steele said he was open to withholding RNC funds from Sens. Olympia Snowe (R-ME), Susan Collins (R-ME), and Arlen Specter (R-PA) because they voted for Obama’s economic recovery package. “I’m always open to everything, baby,” he told host Neil Cavuto. “If state parties want to enact retribution against those Senators, then the RNC will follow their lead,” Steele explained.
It’s about time the Republican Party weeded out those who stray from the message. Democrats don’t waver; why should we?

Drill, Baby, Drill.
Well said Michael.
For any radio listeners here, he guest-hosts for Bill Bennett’s Morning Show about once a week. I always enjoy listening to him speak.

Oops. I meant about once a month. Unfortunately, not much if any, advance notice is ever given.

I say, call their asses out! Don’t call yourself a Republican and vote that way. Conservatives have enough self-inflicted wounds from the last years to put up with this crap anymore. It is time for Republicans to draw a line in the sand and not cross it. This RINO shit has got to go.

The democrats have to love it: the Republicans finance those guys, but yet they always vote the way the democrats want them to when it really matters. Save the money and spend it on a principled conservative, if they flip labels to play for Team Jackass then so be it, they’re more than halfway there anyway.
And you know what? I don’t send one thin little dime to the RNC because I couldn’t live with myself knowing that I in any way, shape, or form helped Snowe, Collins, or Specter pull their bullshit.
And, I liked that he threw “baby” in there.
February 27th, 2009 at 9:56 pm
I think he also used “Baby” in his RNC chair acceptance speech.
I really really like his attitude. He has to be firm in letting these 3 know that we won’t put up with their BS anymore. Specter has not heard the last from me yet, that’s for sure.

Keep the faith, baby.

It will be nice to see if they do begin to remain constant when it comes to stated ideals. I trust Steele to be telling the truth, let’s verify if it turns out true though.

Steele is full of sh*t…just talk, talk, talk. He didn’t do anything for state of Md.

Baby, ya gotta love this!
Let’s clean out the party and grow it big. Take it back next election.
STOP the madness!
Go Steele! Cull, baby, cull!
