What publication did the following story run on?

“No forest of any kind should be used to make toilet paper,” said Dr. Allen Hershkowitz, a senior scientist and waste expert with the Natural Resource Defense Council.

Other countries are far less picky about toilet tissue. In many European nations, a rough sheet of paper is deemed sufficient. Other countries are also more willing to use toilet tissue made in part or exclusively from recycled paper.

Other countries’ opinions mean less than zero to me. It’s Charmin Ultra all the way (and plenty of it), even if it is rough on my septic system. I deal with it.

I’m actually not, we sometimes need irony to explain things, like how there are black democrat politicians when they SHOULD be Republican..or how actors LOVE to earn money and spend it LAVISHLY yet think it’s ok to be socialists, etc

  6. ManHattie says:

I think that we should all buy virtual on-line toilet paper (which would actually be carbon credits given to Al Gore et al) and instead use the New York Times to wipe our bums.

  7. Lazarus Long says:

Watch out for the ink stains.

  8. SeanSean says:

Is this the NYT’s attempt to market itself as news/toilet paper? I think so!
