Quote Of The Day

Oh no! Now the Japanese are in on the skeptic act.

The IPCC’s conclusion that from now on atmospheric temperatures are likely to show a continuous, monotonous increase, should be perceived as an unprovable hypothesis. We should be cautious, IPCC’s theory that atmospheric temperature has risen since 2000 in correspondence with CO2 is nothing but a hypothesis.

Before anyone noticed, this hypothesis has been substituted for truth… The opinion that great disaster will really happen must be broken.
Kanya Kusano, Program Director and Group Leader for the Earth Simulator at the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science & Technology (JAMSTEC)

B&R reader Brandon reminds us, “They don’t mention it in this particular linked article, but the BBC had an article stating the the Japanese have a similar satellite already in orbit, called Gosat, that multiple agencies will now have to rely on.”

I guess those at JAMSTEC have been reading some of the results “with unprecedented accuracy” as well.

Al Gore, cancel your next trip to Japan.
