I especially like that, just like in other popular-culture examples (Simpsons, Family-Guy, E.L.Raymond, etc.,etc)

… the “White Guy” is a Dim-witted Oaf.

Now if only we could market him as the “Father Figure” as well, the image would be complete!

i’m sure it’s just me, but it looked like pelosi had a botox treatment just for this evenings event.
i wonder if that was in the stimulus plan?

And naturally, the fact that George Bush had one of the most diverse cabinets is ignored since it doesn’t fit the narrative.

    @muscledaddy:

Though in this instance, the “white guy” comment, if applied to Joe Biden, fits your definition perfectly.

I doubt anyone here will disagree with me: Joe Biden is a dim-witted oaf.

Still, as I AM a “white guy”, I am disgusted with the “dumbass” representation that while males get. Can’t have a woman as the dim-witted idiot, it’s sexist. Can’t have an immigrant as the dim-witted idiot, it’s racist. Same with any ethnicity and gender other than “white male”

And if it so happens this white guy is slightly overweight, Oscar-Mike-Golf is HE going to get it…

It is people like Katie that keep racism a part of the American “culture” … who the f*ck cares what color their skin is – what’s in their brain THAT’S the thing to comment on cause there’s a freaking awful lot missing.

Isn’t it amazing though while on the subject of skin tone & brains that Condi Rice got nowhere near the “recognition” for her skin color or gender? Funny how she was expected to do her job and was held accountable for her position, not because she was a woman or because she was black or because she liked football, or any other “thing” that seems to be important w/ this new White House …

Grrrr is it over yet? Is it 2012 .. has sanity returned to the USA … Honor, Dignity, Respect? Any of those things out there?

  6. ortzinator says:

louielouie, I think botox is the opposite of stimulus…

ah, diversity… one of the great non-virtues, the sacred cattle of modern liberalism

The furthering of diversity does nothing but to pit people of differing ethnic backgrounds needlessly against each other, which results in racial tensions, which will then be taken advantage of by some pandering democrat — a willing contributor to the original problem — to win over race-bait-chomping, herd-of-sheep voters, who are foolishly convinced that the corrupt jackass actually wants to do something about the situation.

There are plenty of other liberal sacred cattle:

“fairness”: a backup strategy for when they lose elections, or lose market share in any industry that wields the power to influence the masses

“political correctness”: an obvious one, means don’t disagree with liberals, ignore the 1st amendment

“self expression”: … but do openly disagree with conservatives, citing the 1st amendment

    “choice,” pacifism, etc. etc. etc.

Until the main stream media quits portraying white males as the problem with America, and liberals wake up and realize they are the racist ones, it will always be around.
