Remember, Sean Penn wasn’t a real gay activist. He just played one in a movie.
Gay activists are thrilled over Sean Penn’s win for Best Actor for his moving portrayal of slain San Francisco board of supervisor Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California.
“The Best Actor win for Sean Penn is so richly deserved,” said Neil G. Giuliano, President of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation in an exclusive statement to RadarOnline.com.
And let’s not forget about the leaking of the pro-Proposition 8 donor list.
Just what do you think would happen to any Academy voter who didn’t give the nod to “Milk”?

An update to the Oscars. I looked in on change.org just after the awards were out, and guess what! The lead article was trashing Jerry Lewis for his Humanitarian Award. And then an astute blogger thought this was ALSO a LGBT (or BLT-G) issue as well. Take a look at the comments (I am Shadow 2 over there) ( http://autism.change.org/blog/view/celebrities_awareness_and_why_jerry_lewis_shouldnt_win_that_award ) and wonder, is change.org turning into a new Kos?
Had it on mute for a while until Best Supporting Actor was awarded. Wanted to make sure Heath Ledger won. When his family left the stage, I turned the TV off.
I was saddened when he got that..I was hoping for “Slumdog Millionaire” or “Benjamin Button” would’ve gotten it. also, he ADMITTED what we know Hollywood of being – a bunch of “Commie, homo-loving sons a guns”
an ADMISSION….wow…
