    such a garbage circumstance that our dime fronts THEIR overseas escapades and they won’t even give us an EXACT number of what WE’RE PAYING…absolutely ridiculous

    the funding FOR all of their escapades needs to be from PRIVATE donors..NOT tax payer’s wallets, ESPECIALLY with the economy in the dirt…

    $14,000 for first class? I have a $2,000 toilet seat for the state house.

    My STATE senator is always taking trips – to Venezuela, Brussels, Turkey, all over the world and brings his wife along. I don’t know who pays for her – maybe his ‘war coffers’.

    But WHY do the State senators travel like that? “they’re exchanging ideas with other countries [on healthcare or whatever the particular committee the Senator is on].

    So we have State Senators traveling around on our dime and also the Federal Congress.

    Have the Airlines asked for a bailout?

    Congressmen need to go overseas to improve relations with other countries?? I thought that’s why we had a state department, and other federal agencies.

    Senators and Representatives are supposed to worry about their particular States in relation to the Union; let the Federal government worry about the Union and our ties to other countries.
