The Obama Doomsday Pitch

I’ll have to hand it to the Democrats: there’s one thing they ARE good at and that”s talking down an economy. What’s also sad about President Obama is what little “hope” he’s offering if he doesn’t get his way, and people are starting to take notice….

Brad Blakeman, a senior aide to Mr. Bush from 2001 to 2004, said the new president’s language is immature.

“It’s not presidential. An American leader needs to be hopeful and optimistic – and truthful. Everything he says is parsed; everything he says is searched for deep meaning. When he goes to ‘DefCon 5′ on the economy and says that we’re on the brink of catastrophe, it’s absolutely insane.”

With his fiery rhetoric, the new president runs the risk of terrifying consumers and investors, which could depress the economy even further. While the economy is bad, it is a far cry from Great Depression levels, when as many as 30 percent of Americans were unemployed, compared with the 7.6 percent now.

Also in this piece is a reference to Jimmy Carter and his mention of our nation being in an economic “malaise”, which if you remember, set the stage for the optimism of the Reagan Revolution. (BTW- Sarah Palin was always pretty optimistic.)

An instance of history repeated Barack Obama may well wish to refresh himself with.

I definitely agree with ya, bob, he’s definitely turned into the “threatening black man”

Dems will say ANYTHING to get elected, and suddenly TURN on us once elected, won’t they?

Ah, yes. The ‘politics of fear’ that Bush was so often accused of. O makes me literally sick to my stomach.

but can you imagine the amount of money that soros is going to pour into alaska for ANY candidate, other than Sarah Palin, who wants to run for gov’r.

I hadn’t thought of that, but it makes complete sense. I wonder if Soros already owns the Secretary of State of Alaska…

Democrats are good at “taking down” just about anything they get their hands on…. starting with the blacks. Btw, here’s a piece of Democrat Doomsday history Americans might wish to refresh themselves on:

1964 (not surprisingly, their math hasn’t changed much since then either)

    re: Sara-cuda / Soros ringer

I hear Alaskans have a different name for Democrats there, “moose”. But while the meat is obsessively lean and organic, even the dogs find it too gamey. Also, having the survival skills of a two year old in aisle four of Williams Sonoma, they’re not prized much as game either. “Useless” is the other name Alaskans like to use for them.

Most Alaskans prefer watching them “harmonize” with the Coca Cola polar bears and Heather Mills seals while protesting (and prancing) atop the “rapidly melting arctic ice”, while expending copious amounts of fossil fuels to a) get there, and b) keep themselves obsessively stocked with their precious organic greens.

One of these days they’ll learn to throw down a small truckload of chum bait in advance of the protesters to “spice up” the entertainment.

i bet that is an economic stimulus plan for the alaskan legal industry.

But Bob, the sales of firearms and ammunition are skyrocketing.
