The Obama Pledge

Of course, this outrageous claim of now taking an oath to the President instead of the Constitution had to have been a hoax. There were no names or verification. Like that kind of stuff is happening already….

A parent in the Clark County School District of Las Vegas, Henderson area reported January 27th that his son, who is in 1st grade, came home yesterday saying that he didn’t want to go back to school anymore. When asked why, the boy said that during the Pledge of Allegiance the teacher put up a large image of Obama next to the flag.

Thinking that the boy might be exaggerating, the man asked his son if he was sure, and suggested that by “large” he might mean an 8×10 photo of the president. The boy apparently said “No, it is a large picture of Obama and when we are done, the teacher turns off the image.”

The same thing was not done for President Bush last year.

Well, here’s the upside. Prayer isn’t allowed in school.

Very shortly, it may be.

Since people have already violated public law 94-344, section 4 (g)

    (g) The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any
    nature.

by placing Obama’s likeness and/or name on the flag, and doing so without penalty, it’s not much of a step to pledge allegiance to the man himself.

While the current situation was resolved quickly, I expect we’ll see more of it in time.

Then again, at the grocery store this morning, I over heard several conversations where people were grousing about the stimulus package and how this Administration wasn’t the ‘change’ they were expecting.

Definitely needs to be reported and investigated. The kid is too young to be making this junk up – but dollars to donuts, that’s what the school admin will claim.

And there’s already (secretive) prayer in schools. Not just on exam days, either. At the high school where I sub, I regularly come in to find a small group of students near the flagpole, praying together. It’s really wonderful to see.

Well, we have celebs pledging to serve the President…won’t be long before they pledge allegiance.

This is how they did it in Nazi Germany. It is scary and that teacher should be fired.

It is how they do it in the South America commie countries and North Korea… the leader must be treated like a deity.

I am a teacher, a conservative, and other than teaching our US Constitution and Bill of Rights I would never treat our president with anything but neutrality.

I was teaching my kids (lower grades) about how people sign up as R or D to vote, then the tally is taken in each state, then each state gets so many electoral points to put toward the candidate and the one with the most wins. I had a small 8 x 11 paper with the red and blue map of how it came out. It was when Bush won that last contentious election. I am not even a fan of Bush and even made no mention of him. But the teacher I ‘teamed’ with kept removing the paper from the board where I had taught the lesson!

God help this country, the international socialists have taken over and Obama is their puppet!
