Criminal gangs in the USA have swelled to an estimated 1 million members responsible for up to 80% of crimes in communities across the nation, according to a gang threat assessment compiled by federal officials.
The major findings in a report by the Justice Department’s National Gang Intelligence Center, which has not been publicly released, conclude gangs are the “primary retail-level distributors of most illicit drugs” and several are “capable” of competing with major U.S.-based Mexican drug-trafficking organizations.
Maybe President Obama could meet with them without preconditions. That scares the hell out of our enemies, right?
ya, I’d like to see The O man meet face to face with gang leaders and tell ‘em to “knock it off” etc…
What ever happened to the good ol’ day when the worst things gangs would do is dance around and snap their fingers?
Or when they would take over NYC every night with big rallies?
Gang members are like coyotes & pray on the weak. We have a hunting season on coyotes. Might want to petition to start an open season on gang members or maybe a bounty on them. It would save taxpayers in the long run & take a bite out of crime. It’s not safe to take a walk with your wife or girlfriend without worrying about a confrontation with a gang.

First thing to do is to ensure that an individual will not be harassed for carrying a tol for defense (gun, knife, etc), then if he needs to use it for his defense and it is in defense (always verify) than leave him as he may wish to do.
Second thing would be to take away the means of them making their money. Easiest way to do that would be to legalize drugs, but I doubt anyone besides myself is willing to do that.
