There IS a reason why our presidents tend to be older. They are wiser. They aren’t juvenile and arrogant. And unlike George W. Bush who got off to a bad start because of the contested 2000 election, most enjoy a longer “honeymoon” period because they are humble.
Unlike the younger punks…
Just two days after the inauguration, when Republican legislators told the president they objected to the massive spending bill, Obama dismissed them with two words: ‘I won.’
That was a particularly stupid mistake by the new president. Hard-left Democrats may cheer at such gloating, but most Americans don’t like that kind of contempt being shown to Congress.
Indeed, as the American website Politico points out, with those two words ‘Obama brought the curtain down on the 48-hour era of bipartisanship.’ He liberated the Republicans from any mainstream media pressure to offer support to Democrat policies. He dismissed ‘bi-partisanship,’ so why shouldn’t they?
The big spending and the big arrogance are why Obama’s support is already falling.
After only a week and a half.
I wonder if approval ratings have ever gone into the negative numbers?

“Do you still feel good about Obama?”
A bit presumptious? It assumes one liked Obama at some point.
Geez, he acts like some 7 year old playing guns that got “hit” and claims he has “adamantium armour plated with chrome so your bullets just bounce off me”
I’m sure that “I won” came from his arrogance and pride. There is no humility in this man and that will wear thin in short time.
Even if The One’s approval rating could go into negative numbers, the MSM would never let the public know about it anyway.
