PETA Deception Aimed At Kids

Why must liberals insist on playing games with the truth to get their way, and to make matters worse, manipulate and indoctrinate children as well?

“Sea kittens” is the new term being used by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, for the creatures they believe are in dire need of an image makeover: fish.

“PETA thought that by renaming fish sea kittens, compassionate people who would never dream of hurting a dog or a cat might extend that sympathy to fish, or sea kittens,” PETA campaign coordinator Ashley Byrne says.

Byrne says that rebranding fish as sea kittens was obvious.

As is PETA’s shameless nature.

certainly is. saw this on Yahoo as well. Funny libs take a decent possibly honorable cause and take it to a radical level, hell-bent on indoctrinating society with their garbage

As an avid fisherman I’ve had my share of confrontations with members of PETA. I’ll make sure to catch a few for them while I’m out on the lake this weekend. It amazes me how idiotic they can get.

    oh it does huh?
a few years ago, PETA tried to get the oklahoma town of slaughterville to change its’ name.
the town only has a population of about 500 and is made up of mostly farmers & ranchers.
the town is located a few miles south of norman, which is about 20 miles south of okla city.
the town was named for the owner of the first grocery store i think.
they promised the school, non-meat patties for two weeks, if they made the change.
the town told PETA to go pound sand.
i think my example should be idiotic enough for you.

Well Louie, in my home town the local library started a program where kids who couldn’t afford them could “check out” rods and reels to go fishing in the bayou several yards from the library. The rods were donated by the public and the program was a real success. PETA decided to go out and protest the library for promoting the barbaric idea of fishing. The highlight of the protest was when one of our councilman showed up with tunafish sandwiches to hand out to the PETA members for lunch.

I’m personally in favor of playing this song at every PETA protest.

You know, a bit of fired ’sea kitten’ would be good right now.

And the factory farming video just made me wish for more ethical treatment of my food, not to stop eating meat at all.
