So what would the press blame it on if the historic inauguration of Barack Obama drew a less-than-historic throng? At some point, they’ll have to blame it on Bush….
The warnings about massive crowds, sparse lodging and tight security have convinced some would-be visitors that it is best to stay home. That might mean smaller crowds than first estimated for the Jan. 20 swearing-in of Barack Obama.
Washington’s police chief, Cathy Lanier, said last week that authorities were anticipating 1 million to 2 million people. That is far shy of the 3 million to 5 million figure that Mayor Adrian Fenty initially projected. The district’s population is about 560,000; the metro area is about 4.8 million.
Antron Johnson of Atlanta and his group of Obama supporters once planned to charter three 57-seater buses. Now they are down to two. “I am completely frustrated and disappointed,” Johnson said.
Given the make-up of his supporters, more freebies should’ve been offered, like food, housing, pocket money, warm clothing, toilet paper, shoes, deodorant….

Well, they certainly don’t have to worry about ME contributing to the crowd. I can’t spit that far.
The same math that was used for the Million Man March shall be trotted out again, that’s all…
As someone who lives a short distance away from D.C., I’m not going to complain at the lowered press of people. I’m taking inauguration day off from work because I have no desire to be on the roads at that time.
Early forecasts call for gloomy skies and list the BHO Accu Inauguration Temps in the single digits … I’m afraid if Obama doesn’t see his shadow we could be in for a long cold four years.

If it’s not Bush, it’ll be AGW. Or maybe it’s because they themselves dubbed this The Presidency of “Lowered Expectations”.

Also, found this. It’s a few months old according to the description. Don’t know if it’s been posted here but it doesn’t look like it’s seen a lot of traffic. It goes on a for a bit but the ending is priceless.

And these guys want nuclear capabilities.
I’m sure Harry Reid will be happy there will be less people. Think about the smell.
Definitely deodorant… although I doubt they’d use it. They certainly don’t smell like it.
