Nancy Pelosi promised “the most ethical Congress ever”, implying that Democrats were clean as the driven snow. Yesterday we get a quid pro quo allegation against the future Secretary of State, and now more of the same against the future Commerce Secretary causing him to withdraw.

The US will most likely lose power internationally thanks to Obama, and the economic crisis might last longer because of him. but hey, we’re gonna have scandal upon scandal for four years if this keeps up.

What is pitiful and pure hypocrisy here is how they emphasize how this is just a “Richardson” problem (however sympathetically) and yet never mention it is a setback for the “chosen one”. Same goes for the disaster occurring in Ill.

I guarantee if this was McCain as the president elect Ms. Mitchell would be saying how this was “a major setback for the president elect”, something she would not say about Obama.
