Race Card Play Of The Day

Live by the sword…?

Ain’t this post-racial period great?

Bobby Rush, the former Black Panther who is now a congressman from Chicago, levelled his accusation on the CBS Early Show this morning in reaction to the letter signed by all 50 Senate Democrats declaring that they would not seat Roland Burris, the African-American that Gov. Rod Blagojevich yesterday named to take Barack Obama’s Senate seat.

Popcorn, anyone?

    1957?

    “Recent”

Good Googledemoo, what a frickin’ fossil…

  2. Henry Says:

I’m not getting the color-coded Senate seat thing…. Is this what MLK wanted?

  3. BRFan Says:

Anyone else have trouble understanding what he was saying?

  4. Ralph Short Says:

Yes, I had trouble and his concept of “recent” is ludicrous. This individual’s mindset is in the 50’s and 60’s and always will be. Bob, I did not realize he was a former black Panther which is not part of the MSM. I guarantee if he were white and was part of the KKK it would have been noted in any story of him backing whomever.

nevertheless, I am sticking by my concept of this whole circus and that is Fitzgerald deliberately screwed his chances of conviction by his early broadside. The fact is no crime was ever committed, no suitcase full of cash was ever filmed or videotaped, no confirmation of job offers was ever consummated.

Fitzgerald did what he did in order to save the Obama administration. The reasons he did this are not certain but can be reduced to two. The first is he likes Obama and what he stands for and the second is Fitzgerald is ambitious and believes this is his path to D.C. My own view is ambition is paramount. Gee, now what a surprise that is!!
