Wound Too Tight
I would hope one of the allures of this site is that while we discuss issues, we’re not all ensnared in the politically correct fishnet. I’ve certainly distanced my style from my bowtie brethren, but it appears that some in the conservative sisterhood are equally encumbered by stuffiness.
I will be called names for writing this column. It always happens. Raise the issue of the pornification of the culture and its fanatical devotees will come gunning for you. If they hope to be intimidating, they’ve forgotten what delete keys are for.
It’s Christmastime and the Fox News Channel, the most conservative of the major media outlets, is running an ad for PajamaGrams, “the only gift guaranteed to get your wife or girlfriend to take her clothes off.” The ads feature soft porn images of women disrobing and tossing slips and bras to the floor. The ads run at all times of the day and night. Thus do we usher in the season supposedly devoted to the Prince of Peace and the Festival of Lights.
Mona, I would never call you names.
I do admit, watching those commercials run literally back-to-back, can be somewhat annoying, but conservatives enjoy these kind of spots, not all because of the cheesecake, but precisely because we really do enjoy women being women. You all do look good in those jammies, and I would guess that women do enjoy taking them off.
The PC-plagued left would never run those ads because they do everything possible to deny their feminine sides, only unless exhibited by men. And as many liberal women have burned razors along with their bras, they really wouldn’t look good in most PajamaGrams.
Please enjoy us enjoying you, especially during this holiday season.

I understand Mona. Conservative men shouldn’t be trying to get their girlfriends to take their clothes off, only their wives.

Agreed, Bob.
The only thing better than a woman in PJs, is a woman out of her PJs.
Many on the Conservative side need to get the stick out of their collective asses.
Be happy that PJs are selling so good that they can afford to run commercials on Fox, thus keeping Fox in business. The essence of capitalism.

Some of us conservative men don’t have wives and are very happy with our girlfriends.

Now if only someone could get those damned Christy Lane commercials off the air.

I’m reading this laughing….at the Pajamagram ad in the left sidebar.
