Gays have the same rights as everyone else. A Gay man has the exact same right to marry a woman as I do. He may not want to exercise that right, but he has it. As for “Love”, that’s not a legal requirement anyway.

I’m just wondering when they’re going to start protesting for equal rights for S&M practitioners.

If you guys think the gays are being uppity now, just wait until they insist on gay affirmative action (and set-asides), on political districts being drawn that protect gay districts, and so on. It’s all part of their civil rights struggle, you know.

It’s ridiculous to compare a life-style choice to a race. That’s like comparing Tennis players to Iranians. (It doesn’t make any damn sense). And I still think it’s BS that ANYONE should have more rights than me or my family because of gayness, sex, religion, race, hobbies, criminal record, martial status, etc…If gays think it’s so bad here they should move to the middle east. Then they’d know how good they have it and maybe shut the hell up. Or maybe move to Lesbos…..

That was the big mistake. The major difference between the fag agenda and the civil rights movement…The homosexuals already have their rights, the African American community did not have rights. Plain and simple. When they made the comparison to civil rights, that only confirmed my vote against them (which I was doing anyway)

… a pretty ballsy title indeed, however, it not only GETS your attention, it sums up (as well as) articulates the author’s thought process, theory and conclusion … all wrapped up in exactly what a headline is suppose to do … GET YOUR ATTENTION!!!

The problem today, is that too many can no longer deal with what’s real (i.e.: Free Republic). This is purely an opinion piece, which BTW carries with it much credence and a whole lot of history.
