Unlike most benevolent institutions that give for the sake of giving, some of America’s labor unions gave up much of their time and money to help Barack Obama elected, and now it’s time to pay the piper.
Having helped Barack Obama win the White House and the Democratic Party expand control of Congress, unions are ready to tackle a wish list that has gotten crumpled and faded.
At the top: the Employee Free Choice Act, which would make it easier for workers to join unions — therefore ensuring the very survival of the House of Labor during the nationwide economic crisis.
It’ll be very interesting indeed to see if their president-elect doesn’t come through in the ways the unions envisioned. I mean, what can they do, and are unions really that special?
After all, the far left were seemingly burned during the election and Obama (at the end of the day) got what he wanted. That’s all that really matters, right?

“Employee Free Choice Act” – yeah right, just another obfuscation of words, just like the whole democrat message. The fact is that it would make it easier for members to join because they could not vote anonymously (hence the thugs intimidating the people who would revolt)!! Geez!!
Hope you have a lot of popcorn…this will be a very long circus!
I had thought that it would be fairly easy to join an union, especially when considering that in some states they would force you to become unionized if you wanted the job. Wouldn’t it be harder to leave a union after all?
