Obama Kids’ Education “Special Circumstances”

While most of our kids have to deal with all that is public education…

Emmy award-winning Actor Joe Pantoliano of “The Sopranos” said despite President-elect Barack Obama’s opposition to school choice for low-income families, the Obama family has “special circumstances” when it comes to where to send his children to school, and they should give their children “the best they can afford.”

And screw the rest of us that don’t have that option.

Let’s be real. With the exception of Amy Carter, no politician in their right mind sends their kids to public schools. But they feel our pain and that’s all that matters.

“special circumstances” should simply be replaced by: “rich”

Who cares what Joe Pantoliano has to say or any celebrity for that matter?

I’ve always said that the Left breaks down the population into two groups, the Party and the Proletariat. The Proles get Public schools, and the Party gets private schools.

And I don’t see the problem in your last sentence. Amy Carter isn’t an Exception when you say “Any politician IN HIS RIGHT MIND….”

What happened to the ‘Class Envy’ card Obama kept using? Ohhh, he forgot to mention how extremely ‘rich’ he was.

Bob, I’m confused. Dems have run DC Public Schools for decades (forever?). I believe DC Public Schools are Union?

Ergo, should not DC Public Schools be stellar and far and above the mean Republican run private schools?

I hope you can enlighten me on where my thinking is off. [G]

One of the many mantras of the left: “What is good for thee, is not so good for me.”

They also like to say: “Do as we say not what we can afford.”
