This guy is a jackass. Anbar turned due to the Marines AND the Minnesota NG (Redbulls) ...NOT the Saudis. The locals realized that Syrians and Iranians blowing up their children wasn't cool and they would act on it. They started cooperating with us and helping us at every turn. Hmmm....now it's had almost no voilence since my last trip there. What's that? They need me again but in Afghanistan! Ok! Bob I'll email when I get settled again....I'm off to the Afghan winter wonderland! Up Up and away! (seriously though I deploy today :) I'll be watching the elections from the airports! I am praying!
