I clicked on the graphic and went to the original source for this graph, a site called Journalism.org whose credo is “Project for Excellence in Journalism: Understanding News in the Information Age.” I quote one, just one (count it) line from the article that will inspire you to read the rest:
“Much of the increased attention for McCain derived from actions by the senator himself, actions that, in the end, generated mostly negative assessments.”
SO, I FINALLY get it. It’s all McCain’s fault!
