Bonehead Of The Week

This stupid “it’s all about ME” Susan Smith wannabe could do more to help Barack Obama and garner the wrong kind of attention sought.

Police sources tell KDKA that a campaign worker has now confessed to making up a story that a mugger attacked her and cut the letter “B” in her face after seeing her McCain bumper sticker.

Ashley Todd, 20, of Texas, initially told police that she was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield and that the suspect became enraged and started beating her after seeing her GOP sticker on her car.

An especially bad time to be blaming an imaginary black male attacker.

Very bad time….

Is Steve still whining. Gee, just what we need, a dissertation on exclusivity and tolerance from the party that called Condi, Colin, et al, (basically, any black or brown Republican) “house nigger” “Uncle Tom” “Aunt Jemima”, and on and on. Remember one of Cardin’s staffers was fired for blogging that the staffers should pose with Oreo cookies to race-bait, hmm. Gotta keep those folks on the dem plantation or ya goes after ‘em with whips and nooses, don’t ya.

Michael Steele lost by about 11%, it doesn’t mean dick if he got 40% of the black vote (which it sure doesn’t look like he did, please cite source), if 75% of the white folks vote democrat. Nice try with the sophistry.

  2. The Machine says:

I’m still back up there at “Toodles.”

    “Toodles?”

    Al-righty then.

  3. OldnyFirefighter says:

    Steve,

Fortunately or unfortunately (depending how you look at it) I am about as white as you can get unless you take a bath in Clorox. I am also a Republican. At one time I wasn’t enrolled in either of the major parties. I decided to enroll as a Republican because I was starting to see a shift to the left in the Democrats. I am an American, not an English-American, or Dutch-American (my ancestry) just a Patriotic American that totally dislikes Socialism. The Democratic party no longer abides by the Constitution & Its Amendments, but I will stand up for the Constitution & those rights with my life if need be. My only reason for not voting for Obama is his Ideology, which is Socialist/Marxist. I am not overly happy with McCain, but will vote for him because he will appoint Supreme Court Justices that will Support the Constitution & not try to legislate from the bench. Obama’s color is not a factor. One of my fellow firefighters is black & if something happened to me inside a structure, I know he would be one of the first to come to my rescue & I would do the same for him. I judge a man by his deeds not by his looks. Bob knows I am by no means a “racist”. If Obama was white, I still would not vote for him. His idea to change a Constitutional Republic to a Socialistic or Marxist Society is totally against the Constitution & its Framework enacted by group of smart men for the Citizens of America. I can’t support that Idea.
We have many black men & women I would vote for as President. Obama leaves too many unanswered questions for me to support him. I hope someday, Bob will run for that position. He has my vote already.

  4. Henry says:

“Given that conservatives have opposed every form of black advancement since Reconstruction, yeah it is kinda hard to believe.”

You new here, aren’t you Steve?

  5. thekingtut says:

“Given that conservatives have opposed every form of black advancement since Reconstruction, yeah it is kinda hard to believe”.

Maybe you should read the history of civil rights that Bob posted yesterday Little Stevie. And if you haven’t figured out why there aren’t many black Republicans then let me tell why. They are afraid of being called race traitors and Uncle Toms by the likes of boneheads like you, duh!

  6. Ike says:

They thrive in the Republican Party?

Like Robert Byrd? Like the rednecks and racists that elected John Murtha?

    You’re a riot.

  7. Cameron says:

    Chuck Stuart anyone?

Thankfully, no one else got hurt in this case.

  8. uptownsteve says:

“You did know there were racists in the Democratic Party, right?”

    Never said there weren’t.

But they thrive in the Republican party and have for forty years.

    I’m wrong?

    Name the black elected Republican.

  9. uptownsteve says:

“Steve… I happen to believe there are some folks who are really having a hard time accepting the notion of a BLACK MAN with conservative core beliefs.”

Given that conservatives have opposed every form of black advancement since Reconstruction, yeah it is kinda hard to believe.

What are you trying to conserve BTW?

  10. Ike says:

Steve… then how do they get nominated?

And you’re completely ducking the issue here. The only reason most people know about the Bradley Effect today is because it is being referenced in its alleged effect on the polling for Obama.

You did know there were racists in the Democratic Party, right?

  11. uptownsteve says:

“Ask anyone that question who uses hyphenated American terms first.”

    Oh please.

I’ve heard the terms “Irish-American”, “Italian-American”, Polish-American” etc….all my life growing up in NYC.

Only when blacks became “African-American” did certain folks feel threatened.

  12. Ike says:

Steve… I happen to believe there are some folks who are really having a hard time accepting the notion of a BLACK MAN with conservative core beliefs.

    Know anyone like that?

  13. uptownsteve says:

“Isn’t the whole notion of the so-called Bradley Effect based on the proposition that White Democrats will fail to vote for Obama for racist reasons?”

He didn’t win all those primaries, the nomination, and leading by 10 points in the polls on black votes alone.

Deval Patrick, David Patterson, Keith Ellison Isiah Leggett, Ron Kirk, Carol Moseley Braun and Doug Wilder are all black Democrats who won statewide races or races in majority white areas at the top of the ticket.

Michael Steele got almost 40% of the black vote when he ran for Maryland Senator.

What white Republican would lose anywhere if they got 40% of the black vote?

Swann, Steele and Blackwell got crushed in their statewide races because they were abandoned by the GOP base.

    White conservatives.

  14. pdm says:

    Chuck Stuart anyone?

  15. uptownsteve says:

    Cameron,

Most African-Americans have mixed race ancestry.

That’s why we come in shades from alabaster to purple.

Obama is the same complexion as many of my friends and relatives who have always been considered BLACK.

I think some folks are really having a hard time accepting the notion of a BLACK MAN in the White House.

They just gotta make him something else.

    LOL!!!!

  16. Cameron says:

Or maybe because he takes a stance against unions.

Yeah. Can’t have unlicensed dog catchers going after unlicensed dogs. There would be a conflict of interest.

    (I kid, I kid)

  17. Ike says:

Hey Steve… I actually have a problem with your statement:

“a black republican can’t get elected dogcather because white Republicans won’t vote for them.”

You seem to think that only Republicans are racist. Isn’t the whole notion of the so-called Bradley Effect based on the proposition that White Democrats will fail to vote for Obama for racist reasons?

If a Black Republican fails to become dogcatcher, it will be because he has set his sights on a higher office. Or maybe because he takes a stance against unions.

  18. Cameron says:

Because everyone seems so quick to point out that he’s the first Black candidate when that is not an accurate statement.

    Why isn’t he just “American”?

Ask anyone that question who uses hyphenated American terms first.

  19. uptownsteve says:

“Hell, I’m Scottish, English and French, but I identify myself as human and American. I don’t have the time, patience or inclination to think of myself as anything else.”

But you were quick to point out that Obama is “half-white”.

    Why isn’t he just “American”?

  20. Cameron says:

For the record I’m one quarter Irish and one quarter Catawba Indian. The rest is African-American.

Hell, I’m Scottish, English and French, but I identify myself as human and American. I don’t have the time, patience or inclination to think of myself as anything else.

As for the topic at hand, I hope that the young woman gets the help she needs after she’s made restitution for her actions. If that means a stretch in jail, so be it.

  21. Cameron says:

I think you mean they were “vilified.” The Duke players were painted as thugs and rapists even as the evidence in their favor kept coming to light.

As for Lamar Owens, military life is different from civilian life. He was told to stay away from someone and he chose to ignore the order. He was not charged with rape but with Conduct Unbecoming an Officer. Big difference.

Regarding Marcus Dixon, I will agree that he should never have been charged or put through the legal system like that.

  22. uptownsteve says:

“Out of curiosity, why do you guys keep forgetting that he’s half white”

Because up until Obama made a serious run at the Presidency, one drop of black blood in America made you black.

For the record I’m one quarter Irish and one quarter Catawba Indian. The rest is African-American.

Never stopped racists from calling me nigga.

  23. uptownsteve says:

“And I’ll go out on a limb and bet that you were one of those people that automatically lynched those boys at Duke, weren’t you?”

    Lynched???

Not one thing happened to those thugs (two of them had felony records) except being deified in the media.

Now ex Navy quarterback Lamar Owens and Georgia teenager Marcus Dixon?

Two black men, one expelled from the Naval Academy and the other jailed for two years, for having consensual sex with white women.

    THAT’s a lynching my friend.

  24. Cameron says:

That’s why the Dems are about to put a black man in the White House

Out of curiosity, why do you guys keep forgetting that he’s half white?

  25. Dar says:

No wonder there’s still such rampant racism in this country when we’ve got idiots like this and Susan Smith making false accusations against imaginary black male assailants!

I hope after Ms. Todd serves her time and pays her fine, pending charges, she crawls back under her rock and stays there!

From the moment I saw her picture, I just knew this was a fake report–that “B” was too perfect and too shallow. Obviously, she just wanted to scratch herself up enough to get some sympathy but not leave any real lasting scars. That’s some “violent” attacker–carves you up and you don’t require one single stitch!

  26. uptownsteve says:

“Aw Steve, I’ll bet you know a lot about Massahs still being stuck on the dem plantation and all. ”

    Yeah Hoss.

That’s why the Dems are about to put a black man in the White House and a black republican can’t get elected dogcather because white Republicans won’t vote for them.

You guys really don’t have a clue do ya?

  27. Cameron says:

On the bright side, he did provide me the term “negrophobic.” I gotta remember that one.

  28. Bob says:

    Emailed from Steve…

    Whoa. Touchy aren’t you?

Well you did whine that this “could do more to help Barack Obama and garner the wrong kind of attention possibly sought.”

Not that it was a repulsive racist LIE and another negrophobic hoax that immediately affects the life of every black man.

Naw, you’re just worried that the “liberal” press is going to use it to hurt Massa McCain.

BTW, what are you black righties going to do when Obama wins?

Gratuitously attacking him is going to look so lame and…………………..Uncle Tommish.

    Toodles,
    Steve

Gotta love those tolerant, inclusive liberals.

  29. Hoss says:

Aw Steve, I’ll bet you know a lot about Massahs still being stuck on the dem plantation and all. And I’ll go out on a limb and bet that you were one of those people that automatically lynched those boys at Duke, weren’t you. I’ll ignore your feigned indignation.

This story smelled the minute I heard about it.

  30. Cameron says:

And you were doing so well right up until the point you decided to use the phrase “Massa McCain.” We really have to get some better quality trolls. I’m sure we can fork over some money to hire a few.

Yes, Steve, this hoax does garner the wrong kind of attention. Kind of like a reporter claiming that someone screamed “Kill him!” at a McCain/Palin rally.

  31. uptownsteve says:

    brandon

    How so?

Didn’t Bob say this “could do more to help Barack Obama and garner the wrong kind of attention possibly sought.”?

Not that it was a repulsive racist LIE and another negrophobic hoax that immediately affects the life of every black man.

Naw, you’re just worried that the “liberal” press is going to use it to hurt Massa McCain.

  32. thekingtut says:

I wonder, if you dig deep enough, would you find that she’s actually an Uuuuuuhbama plant?

  33. Brandon says:

Steve, I think you misread the posting….

  34. Bob says:

“I know how that just breaks your heart.”

    Excuse me?
I have no sympathy for little girls who fraudulently accuse men of crimes, especially little white girls who fraudulently accuse black men, or little black girls who fraudulently accuse white men.

    PERIOD.

  35. uptownsteve says:

    Ummmm, Bob.

It has been confirmed to be a hoax.

The woman made the whole thing up.

I know how that just breaks your heart.
