Obama More Important Than Baseball
There are some things more American than The World Series.
Sorry, but a Barack Obama infomercial isn’t one of them.
Major League Baseball agreed Wednesday to push back the start time of Game 6 of the World Series by about 15 minutes so that Fox Broadcasting Co. could sell Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama a half-hour of prime time on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Obama seems to have everyone pushing back….
The campaign also has bought the same time period — 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 — on CBS and NBC so Obama can run a 30-minute program on all of the networks. Each network is selling the time for $950,000 to $1 million. Buying time on all of the major broadcast networks would allow Obama to reach more than 20 million people on the Wednesday before the election.
It’s also sad that Major League Baseball would stop The World Series down so a presidential candidate can throw a slow pitch on our televisions.

But but but I thought “Faux” was anti Obama? Why would they possibly sell him air time?

I thought this was a joke at first. It would be bad enough if he bought ad time during the World Series, but to dish out that kind of money while talking about how he’s going to “spread the wealth” among us plebes?
But on further reflection, this fits Mr. Obama to a T. First he had a fake presidential seal, now a faux State-of-the-Union address.

We’ll talk when your boys get there, Bob.
Don’t bring up my boys; I’ll view it as unfair and just plain mean. Then I’ll post links to subjective sites of a questional nature which support my claims. Then I’ll change my name… maybe something that starts with a B and rhymes with lame.
