I was simply pointing it out because it looked similar. But saying the US assured the victory over Nazi germany is a bit egocentric. My own country fought hard, had its own beachhead at d-day and was fighting before the US got involved. I must admit that without the US, things were looking bleak, but the US is not solely responsible for the victory over the Nazis. every participating country had its role to play, no matter how important. the US troops probably could not have progressed so well in France if it weren't for the resistance movement, for example. If instead of a salute, these soldiers had the "Heil Hitler" thing going, it'd be pretty scary. Going back to my own opinion of this: Good to see that even though the people at home want to end that war, the soldiers feel they have something to contribute. Just feel like mentionning it because i’m not in complete disagreement…

Our fighting men & women know what is happening, & unlike the Left Wing MSM & other Media that lie to the American people, they tell it like it is. That is not to say that there are not soldiers that are not happy being there, but the largest percentage feel we are doing the right thing. If nothing else, send them encouragement that we, the American public, are proud of them & will support their efforts to keep us out of harms way. They do their job by protecting us & it is our job to to let them know we support their efforts & sacrifice, including their families left behind.
