Jane Bond, NOT!

It would appear (as many of us already knew) that all the talk of Scooter Libby outing Valerie Plame’s “covert” CIA status was as much bull as anything hubby Joe Wilson could pass on to the New York Times…

Newspaper reports suggesting that Plame had been involved in intelligence operations overseas as a non-State Department officer are false. Plame spent nearly all of her career in training and HQs desk assignments, and trainees and HQs desk officers are not assigned to overseas intelligence missions. CIA censors seem to have approved those portions of her book that were critical of the President, but to have blocked those portions that would have revealed she was not an active intelligence officer. Following the purge, Plame spent the rest of her twenty-year career in an HQs cubicle.

Don’t look for any apologies from any of the liberals who, to this day, claim Plame was “covert”, or for any rewrites into the upcoming Warner Brothers biopic on Plame (to be played by Nicole Kidman which could be a box office kiss of death). We know all about liberals and their failure to admit their ever being wrong.

Have typed this before, guess its time to type it one more time again:

If Plame was indeed a covert op and if Plame was indeed outed, she’d be dead. You would never know her name. Furthermore, the cause of death would be so insignificant that it would not even be news. Shame about that terrible automobile accident on that dark and rainy night…
