If our economy tanks, Speaker Nancy Pelosi need be impeached.
The Democrat majority could have passed this bail-out bill (like it of not) by themselves. Pelosi, while taking the non-partisan approach of blaming the Bush administration, claims this crisis “snuck up” on them.
It’s clear they never should have been there in the first place.
Liberal radio is talking about how we set up the economic crisis for a particular moment in time when Sen. Obama was leading in the polls.
Everything sounds fishy to liberals except their leadership.
Let’s not forget that 9/11, the original WTC bombing and the 10/23/83 (I hope I got the date right) Beirut bombing was also a conspiracy on the part of our government to sow fear and control the people.
Something smells fishy about this House vote and the whole scenario ….
90+ dems voted “nay” …. McCain went bipartisan and called in many more than the original 4 who supported the bill ….
I’m thinking that dems have set McCain up for their pre-announced “October Surprise” — in which Obama will now rush onto the scene and in a flurry of self-elevating verbosity — single-handedly and miraculously rally enough votes to save the federal government, Wall Street, main street America, the Global Economy and planet earth from collapse!!!!!

With the exception of your fight to keep Freddie and Fannie unregulated, you could have fooled me! Mind you if you look far enough back you’ll notice that many of the same faces were pushing legislation that started this all.

I remember the Press conference when these cretins came out to announce the first deal. They were trying so hard to deflect blame to Bush so hard, I had to wonder which Bush administration they were talking about. Certainly not the real one.
And it seems that Nancy doesn’t know how long a minute is either.
The way the Dems treated the regulators and OFHEO people was despicable. Their power and greed was (and fear) was palpable. If they all aren’t investigated and prosecuted for dereliction of duty they should at the very least be impeached. Time to elect more Republicans to get that job done.

As bad as the dems were in covering up the FM/FM fiasco, they were even worse when it came to the man who led the team that uncovered it, Armando Falcon, Jr. He was the director of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, OFHEO. Basically calling him a liar who was leading an effort to lynch Franklin Raines. Well, we see who the liars were, and still are.
Snuck up? I guess they’ve never heard that the internet never forgets. Rush was playing audio from a youtube video today of the Republicans trying to fix the FM/FM mess four years ago. But every dem that spoke practically bragged about what great shape Fannie and Freddie were in.
