American Flags Trashed At Invesco
This will not sit well with many.
Here’s a rundown of my night at convention:
2:55 p.m. — After a long walk, I reach the huge white tents where we have to go through the scanning and search routine. There are dumpsters filling up with stuff people can’t take into the stadium. I notice umbrellas and even American flags thrown in the trash cans. (Ironically, everyone inside was handed an American flag.)
This story is now breaking.
Fox News is reporting that trash bags full of discarded American flags from Invesco Field will be presented by Boy Scouts at the next McCain-Palin event.
John McCain’s presidential campaign appears prepared to chastise Democrats over leaving behind piles of miniature American flags after Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech last Thursday in Denver.
Boy Scouts reportedly have arrived with at least two dozen trash bags full of the flags at the site of a McCain rally scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. in Colorado Springs.
The campaign says the flags were recovered from Invesco Field after the Democrats concluded their convention there, and they are going to be used as part of the warm-up ceremonies before McCain takes the stage for the rally.
Hardly an American thing to do.

You know, I was once handed a miniature American flag and can’t remember when it was handed to me or even why. It still is hanging from my bookcase.
Who in their God-damned mind does what these people did in the country the flag represents? I’m all for free speech but I’ll be damned if that’s not one of the most idiotic things they could have done. And these people want to elect a President?

It’s not a huge thing, all by itself.
It is, however, just one of a thousand little things.
Frankly, I’m surprised the DNC let this happened. Aren’t they usually a little sharper than this?

More like Obama saying, “Thou shalt have no other flags before MINE. I, the benenficent one shall provide all flags, and you shall wave it and be grateful.”

They need teleprompters to do the Pledge, they throw thousands of flags in the trash, yet we’re not supposed to question their patriotism?

I am not surprised, this is just one more incident in the thousands of acts of Cerebral Fornication perpetrated on the good citizens of America by Obama and his crew of Marxist/socialist liberals. It will not be the last.
