The $peaker’s Choice
I know we’re all human and we have our biases, but if you were the Speaker of the House, wouldn’t you at least try and show some impartiality?
Nancy Pelosi gave money to the campaigns of thirty-eight members of congress, twenty-eight of these endorsed Obama; ten endorsed Clinton. Pelosi contributed to the campaigns of Obama endorsers almost three to one. Pelosi not only gave to a greater number of Obama supporters, she collectively gave them more money.
Now while that may not be that big a deal, messing with the delegates…?
Pelosi gave $250,000 to the campaigns of superdelegates that endorsed Obama and only $80,000 to the campaigns of superdelegates that endorsed Clinton. Money talks, and Pelosi and her PAC spoke volumes….in shorthand. She may not have publicly endorsed a candidate, but the members of the House of Representatives knew she supported Obama.
I didn’t know you could “buy” delegates.
Well, I guess if you want to lead, you must use the tools those you lead understand.
Sorry about that. I’d never imply that the Democrat nomination could be bought….

I won’t imply it at all, I’ll state it flat out, *cough* Mr. Murtha…

This is the sarcasm, right? What politician (and by necessity delegates are politicians by nature) can’t be bought?
