Meaning that there have been very few times in American History when a single candidate stood out for all people and all reasons. Actually, don't think that's ever happened. I also happen to know that a great many choose not to vote purely because both candidates always suck. This will be my 3rd Presidential election and every time, even before I could legally vote, it seems to come down to the lesser of two evils. Sure I'd like to vote my conscience, but there's never a candidate that has my ideals. It comes down to keeping the the worse candidate out of office by putting the only slightly better one in.
