When a Democrat is in The White House, we hardly ever see any stories in the media about the homeless. However, when a Republican is president, homelessness is portrayed as a problem that’s been ignored for years, if not gotten worse.

Today The Times’ eagle-eyed Harriet Ryan spotted Phil Spector, the famous rock entrepreneur and infamous date, showing up for a court hearing in Los Angeles wearing a very obvious “Barack Obama Rocks” pin.
