It just came to my attention that a Fox News producer contacted a black Republican group I know, looking for “young” black republicans interested in participating in a segment on “African-American voters who are rallying behind McCain”.
I was told I was too old. Okay, I’m not “rallying” behind John McCain, but I’m definitely not voting for Obama either.
Are there enough of us out there for Fox to be picky? Bet’cha more of us oldheads do the actual voting on Election Day….
I can’t even imagine the personal attacks I’d get if I posted that.

Bob, as a 66 year old, I appreciate the warning in case next month they want white republicans. Er, at my age I am sure I won’t pass the youth test.
Anyone who is placing their election day hopes on the youth vote is in for a big disappointment.
