On the one hand, liberal moneybags-puppetmaster George Soros is bemoaning our wobbly economy. But he also plans to make a helluva lot of money from the off-and-on misery of the American people.
With the City abuzz with rumours that billionaire speculator George Soros is staking a massive fortune the FTSE will plummet further, nerves will hardly be calmed by news of a recent family Soros gathering in Portugal.
According to my spy, plans were hatched with the entire Soros family present on how best to profit from the cooling off of the world economy.
So much for “We’re all in this together”…
Now isn’t this just like George Soros. Using Media Matters verbiage, isn’t he being just a tad “misleading”?
George Soros has certainly done has bit to add to the prevailing gloom. He said recently that both Britain and the United States were facing “the most serious financial crisis of our lifetime”.
Hopefully the case will be made that Soros talked down the economy to help install his Democrat cronies into unbridled power, and then used that influence to profit from it. Are we talking insider trading? Who knows, but there’s usually a money trail, and despite his best attempts to put as good a face on this as possible, the fact remains George Soros is the worst kind of political whore.
And he’s a progressive. Go figure.
Years before progressives existed as any kind of, well, anything blacks were acknowledged as being worthy of voting (I was looking for a way to simply not say “given the right to vote”, because if voting is indeed a right than it can not be given and exists because they are 1. sentient, and until we find another sentient species 2. human).
But if I understand anything Lysander Spooner has said (an abolitionist who believed the South had the right to secede and believed that both the North and the South were wrong as it is not the federal government or the state government that man owes his allegiance to, it is that whatever we can truly consent to do we owe any allegiance to and only as long as we do consent to it and that government was nothing more than a band of robbers and thieves), we lost when the North won. It was then that it can be said that the private ownership of men as slaves ended, but the (in the USA) governmental ownership of men as slaves began and all party politics denotes this.
Though it must be said that the Democrat Party and liberals in general seem to show it the most.
Progressivenow is used instead of liberal because of the ‘bad name’ liberalism has these days. IMO

The word “Progressive” has been far from synonymous with “Democrat” in American history.
The word “Conservative” has been far from synonymous with “Republican” in American history.
I realize that purposefully conflating the two is a big part of this blog in a vain attempt to trick Black folks into voting Republican but that doesn’t mean I accept it.
What you all refuse to address is that the Republican party took on the racists as the Civil Rights movement progressed. Storm Thurmond LEFT the Democrats for the Republicans and took the entirety of the Southern racist voting bloc with him. In 1964 the Democrats ran the guy who would sign the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Republicans ran the guy who filibustered it.
That’s not a reason to vote Republican.
It’s a nice historical footnote that the Republicans USED to be for civil rights but to put it frankly, there’s no reason for me to give a flying f—.
