“Fitna” Editorial
On the removal of “Fitna” from the video site LiveLeak,
That any Internet hosting company originating in the United States would deny Geert Wilders access to a webpage, and the ability to stream his film Fitna, is an example of our society’s cowardice. We in the United States are constitutionally guaranteed our freedom of speech. We are guaranteed this right as a result of brave men, men of resolve, men who had the courage to stand in defense of our Natural Rights. It would seem that we are lucky – as a nation – our Founders, Framers and Patriots were more resolute and more courageous, than the administrators of the Internet venues who cower in the face of Jihadist threats.
We in the free West must stand in unity against the tyranny presented in radical Islam. We cannot cower and we cannot take the easy route to non-confrontation or appeasement. We must cultivate the will, together, to rid the world of this totalitarian scourge before we are enveloped by the demon. As Benjamin Franklin said on the occasion of the realization by our Founders that American independence was inevitable, “We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.

I would just exchange Ben Franklin’s word “hang” for “be beheaded”.

The motives of anyone are suspect who is opposed to having Geert Wilders express his opposition to Islamic extremism and terrorism or even to his opposition of the Islamization of Holland, of Europe and of the rest of the world. In our part of the world we fought long and hard to eliminate all forms of extremist violence and oppression.
If anyone should feel that criticism of opposition to extremist violence and oppression is proper and called for, that violence and oppression should be promoted or permitted to prosper, perhaps that will then provide an explanation of why there never was much opposition to the extremist violence and oppression expressed in the following.

That sort of violence, too, is driven by an irrational, radical and extremist ideology. The result of the violence called for is the same: oppression, blood, gore and death. One way or the other, be it radical extremism of the Islamic or of the feminist sort, once it controls society, civilization as we once knew it will no longer exist.
