We can only imagine what the left would do to any Republican who insinuated that Barack Obama, the first real Black presidential candidate with a chance of victory, could be assassinated.
Then again, common sense rules and etiquette never seem to apply to America’s liberal left. Just ask CBS’ “The Early Show” anchor Harry Smith…
Could this be wishful thinking on Harry Smith’s part? Probably not, but this is every Black person’s fear; that the “real” first Black president will be assassinated. One would think the party that reminds us all about the sensitivities of others, would be capable of showing some sensitivity as well.
Thank you, Harry Smith, for re-introducing race into the campaign again, especially in such a distasteful way.
