ESPN’s Dana Jacobson at the Mike & Mike roast earlier this month in Atlantic City, as she personally took on Notre Dame, Touchdown Jesus, and Jesus himself.
I’m being consistently taken to task on various blogs on my making this is a partisan issue. Heaven forbid I point a finger at a helpless, innocent liberal.
If Dana Jacobson were a white man instead of a Jewish woman, and said “fuck” anyone, we all know he would have been fired. Just ask Rush Limbaugh, who was released from his football commentary gig at ESPN after verbalizing a political incorrectism: that the NFL and media wanted to see a black quarterback succeed. Limbaugh, for those who require clarification, did not say “fuck Donovan McNabb”, yet was let go.
Dana Jacobson was given a week to sleep off the vodka.
Secular progressives have no problem publicly dissing the Catholic church (of which I am not a member). Secular progressives (mouthy cowards by nature) are also scared shitless of Muslims, because while entertainment industry celebs will publicly mock Christians, Dana Jacobson would probably require two or three bottles of booze to work up the courage to insult the Prophet Mohammed, and with good reason.
Christians demanding her firing are a lot less scary than Muslims demanding her head.
Liberals are deemed forgivable for their “free speech” expressions while conservatives are held accountable for telling an inconvenient truth. That’s the difference, of which I’m tired of repeating as this is no revelation, except to those on the left in denial.
I’m just waiting for the audio and video to be leaked. As ESPN hasn’t issued a transcript of Jacobson’s drunken rant, I’ll be willing to bet the audio and video will be quite revealing. Quite revealing indeed….
