No, I think it is political rhetoric and vote pandering. How sad someone would sell their very soul spouting such idiocies. The immigration issue is plain and simple. Did one come her legally or not? Many weak willed politicos want to make the solution to this large problem easy by just legalizing the illegals. Heck, with that kind of logic we should just legalize criminal acts and our crime rate will drop significantly. My parents were immigrants. They came here legally, with papers. They obtained employment and learned English. They placed their children in public schools and stressed the value of a good education. They made sure they became American and their children did also. That assumes that the people talking here are conservatives themselves. The fact is there is little difference between the GOP and the Dem's. This banter just proves it. We have little to hope for as conservatives in our time. It is a cultural shift as the baby boomers take control of our country. If conservatives do not usher in a change we are doomed.
