It’s Bush’s fault. Like Reid could do better…

It is always easy to criticize a situation when the going is difficult. The first to complain are usually the weak and faithless. They are the ones who want to run away to avoid the adversity, the struggle to the goal. The weak are usually the ones who decide the best course of action is to do nothing.
Morocco has recently been revisited by terrorist violence. The popular call of the people there was for increased pressure on the terrorist elements by the authorities. They are people who lived through a terrible period of violence and death. By persevering through the adversity they gained a measure of safety. The strong identify that re-doubled efforts to do what is right bring them to their goal.
The charge of Democrats and other weaklings to run away from Iraq and the rest of the Middle East could only open us up to worse violence in the future.

Is it any wonder that the public has lost faith in our ability to succed in Iraq? When you have certain politicians saying ‘the war is lost’ what else would you think? These are people we elected to do a job; to uphold the Constitution; to carry out orders from our President and Congress. Did they thing that, when elected, they would sit back, curry favors with lobbyists, make a few speeches, bring some pork into their district, and get the best parking spots in DC? The liberal media does a good enough job in trying to subvert the public’s mindset; we don’t need the help of politicians as well. Hey Harry, I hear Jane Fonda is single again. Maybe you should give her a call.

nicely written editorial in NYPost about this topic.
Mr. Reid has given tangible aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war, and should be censured at least. But this is all partisan bullshiP. The not so loyal opposition will apparently do and say anything to fight and undermine the sitting President and Commander in Chief.
