Michael Steele And The Racists Within

Warning: I used profanity in this one.

Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele is a grown man and doesn’t need me or anyone else to stick up for him. He knew damn well what was in store for him as a black Republican when he decided to run for the United States Senate. His receipt of racist attacks were expected and he wasn’t disappointed.

So if I may be so bold, let me state the obvious to the gleefully ignorant.

Republicans control the United States House of Representatives. Republicans control the United States Senate. Republicans control the White House. Black people vote around 90-95% for Democrats. Easy math for those who got educated even while being accused of acting white. Blacks have no voice, thus no power.

Get it? Apparently a lot of blacks don’t.

I’m personally tired of finding new ways to say the same things to people who enjoy bouncing up and down in hysterical displays of laughter at black Republicans like a bad singer at The Apollo open mic night. There are some black people who are beginning to question their loyalty to the Democrats. They are beginning to see that their loyalty bears no fruit. They are beginning to rely not on Jesse Jackson, but themselves. They are beginning to realize that they were blind, and now they see.

But for the rest of you who like blaming everyone else for your laziness, your shunning of the very FREE education that could have made you something other than a 40-drinkin’, welfare recipient, it’s time we left you behind. You are racists and we don’t want to hear it no more. The real ignoramuses and racists are you.

For those of you who haven’t read the Washington Times piece, “’Party Trumps Race’ For Steele Foes” by S. A. Miller, I’ll do a little cut-and-paste, with commentary. The story explains my mood….

“Black Democratic leaders in Maryland say that racially tinged attacks against Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele in his bid for the U.S. Senate are fair because he is a conservative Republican. Such attacks against the first black man to win a statewide election in Maryland include pelting him with Oreo cookies during a campaign appearance, calling him an “Uncle Tom” and depicting him as a black-faced minstrel on a liberal Web log.

“Operatives for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) also obtained a copy of his credit report — the only Republican candidate so targeted.

“But black Democrats say there is nothing wrong with “pointing out the obvious. There is a difference between pointing out the obvious and calling someone names,” said a campaign spokesman for Kweisi Mfume, a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate and former president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.”

By the way, children throw cookies. Remember that.

So Kweisi Mfume says there’s nothing wrong with pointing out the “obvious” and calling someone names. He sits back like the cowardly, empty suit he is, and lets other people use the very language he claims to abhor.

What do you think Kweisi Mfume would say if someone burned a cross on his front lawn, or called him some kind of African monkey because of his name? Of course, he’d be screaming bloody murder on CNN. But instead of talking about the issues, the Democrat candidate for the United States Senate has been reduced to welcoming the nuclear option reserved for black Republicans.

I once requested an opportunity to debate Democracy Now! hostess Amy Goodman any time she was in town on any subject, since she’s always going somewhere pitching her book when not on the air begging for money. She’s never responded because it’s obvious she’s afraid to be upstaged by an insignificant black man.

In fact, no one on the left wants to debate a black conservative because, as it turns out, there’s so much they either wish to ignore or are ignorant about regard their allegiance to Democrats: once self-dubbed “The White Man’s Party.” Makes one wonder what Amy Goodman says behind closed doors when her staff monkeys aren’t around.

“State Sen. Lisa A. Gladden, a black Baltimore Democrat, said she does not expect her party to pull any punches, including racial jabs at Mr. Steele, in the race to replace retiring Democratic U.S. Sen. Paul S. Sarbanes.

“Party trumps race, especially on the national level,” she said. “If you are bold enough to run, you have to take whatever the voters are going to give you. It’s democracy, perhaps at its worse, but it is democracy.”

So if I were to call Ms. Gladden “Aunt Jemima”, she should be okay with that because as she was bold enough to have run, she’ll have to take whatever columnists wish to give her. It’s Democracy at it’s worse, but it’s Democracy.

We all know she’d be squealing like a pig in labor should I come anywhere close to that vile bullshit Democrats are spewing. But we know why they’re doing this and fucking Howard Dean sits back and lets it happen. Black conservatives scare them.

“Delegate Salima Siler Marriott, a black Baltimore Democrat, said Mr. Steele invites comparisons to a slave who loves his cruel master or a cookie that is black on the outside and white inside because his conservative political philosophy is, in her view, anti-black.

“Because he is a conservative, he is different than most public blacks, and he is different than most people in our community,” she said. “His politics are not in the best interest of the masses of black people.”

“During the 2002 campaign, Democratic supporters pelted Mr. Steele with Oreo cookies during a gubernatorial debate at Morgan State University in Baltimore.

“In 2001, Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr. called Mr. Steele an “Uncle Tom,” when Mr. Steele headed the state Republican Party. Mr. Miller, Prince George’s County Democrat, later apologized for the remark.”

Ms. Salima Siler Marriott should look in the mirror. Her Democrat master has done nothing for black people except providing housing projects so they stay out of the nicer neighborhoods, destroyed the black family and aborts near 1,500 black babies a day, and the money for those abortions makes its way back to her Democrat master.

“This week, the News Blog — a liberal Web log run by Steve Gilliard, a black New Yorker — removed a doctored photo of Mr. Steele that depicted him as a black-faced minstrel. However, the blog has kept its headline “Simple Sambo wants to move to the big house.” A caption beneath a photo of the lieutenant governor reads: “I’s Simple Sambo and I’s running for the Big House.”

“A spokesman for the Maryland Democratic Party denounced the depiction as being “extremely offensive” and having “no place in politics or in any other aspect of public discourse,” The Washington Post reported. Democrats have denied any connection to the News Blog.”

Isn’t it curiously coincidental that racist cartoons are almost always found on liberal websites and newspapers? Just ask Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas, Janice Rogers Brown, and Colin Powell. Democrats have denied any connection to the blog, but it’s always Democrats who go there.

They say black conservatives are misguided because we’re not Democrats. At least we’re not fucking stupid.

“State Sen. Verna Jones, Baltimore Democrat and vice chairman of the General Assembly’s legislative black caucus, said black Republicans deserve criticism because the Republican Party has not promoted the interests of the black community.

“The public policies supported by Democratic principles are the ones that most impact the African-American community,” she said. “I’m not saying (Mr. Steele) is a sell-out. That’s not for me to say.”

Then shut your mouth Verna, as that’s exactly what you’re saying.

This woman said we deserve criticism because the GOP has not promoted the interests of the black community. I guess the Republican Party should endorse illiteracy and gang shootings. Democrats don’t do anything about those topics so they must support it.

The very people who threw Oreo cookies at Mr. Steele were the same to anoint a flawed white man “the first black president.” Let’s see, if memory serves it was a Republican who freed slaves and a Democrat shot him. Centuries later, it was a Republican who named black-to-black Secretaries of State, and if we’re lucky, maybe the first black woman as president. That is, until a Democrat shoots her…. Democrats do publicly fanaticize about our deaths.

Bill Clinton didn’t promote shit while screwing around on his wife, selling the nation’s nuclear secrets to an enemy for campaign money, and played the sax like the no-rhythm wannabe he is.

“Steele campaign spokesman Leonardo Alcivar said state Democrats are afraid of losing the black vote to Mr. Steele. “That has caused a great tremble throughout the Maryland Democratic Party,” he said. “Of course (they are) going to condone racism. It’s nothing new, and it’s not surprising.”

It’s not surprising, and of course they condone racism because Democrats have performed it so well for so long.

Despite their love and acceptance of Ebonics, Democrats fear blacks that slip through their cracks and learn to read. Liberals hate those of us who dare think without their direction. Democrats denied blacks the right to vote before and hate those of us who utilize the gift of choice when voting now for more than the one party they so authorize.

White Republican politicians I talk to admire black conservative candidates. They say they know what they went through to get elected and can’t imagine the additional grief we go through. When we run, we are the scariest people in the world to Democrats, because one day the black masses will hear our message and will turn on their masters who have deceived them for so long.

It will be ugly and I will dance my ass off.
