It must be hell being an anti-war liberal nowadays. The wheels are coming off the peace train and nobody of relevance is listening to Cindy’s recitations except a mainstream media anxious to direct us away from asking what Sandy Berger stuffed down his pants, and a hard core left that doesn’t have the guts to admit who they are or what they truly believe.
Please note: the word “crazy” comes as a response to the many loopy emails I’ve received since taking on the Cindy Sheehan thing.
Emails that all begin with disclaimers that the sender isn’t a liberal but a moderate, then they implore me to see “Fahrenheit 911″ so I’ll know what the war is really all about. I’m told I have no right to write against Mrs. Sheehan, thus backing up my declarations that free-speech liberals are full of shit when they claim to embrace said free speech. The only free speech they embrace and would allow is their own. Everyone else should adhere to their politically correct terms of verbiage or else.
By the way: the “Uncle Tom” stuff bounces off at this point.
I was also told I have no right to disagree with the notion floating about that Cindy Sheehan is the “Rosa Parks” of the anti-war movement because I am a “right wing white man”. Trying to keep a straight face, I directed the emailer to my website and asked her to view the banner. Her response was that I did a Google search, found a picture of a black man, employed the use of Photoshop, and created a facade just to trick HER. Talk about liberal arrogance.
So what does this writer do when liberals tells him what he can and can’t write about…?
Family Matters
The media and liberal groups are doing all they can to portray Cindy Sheehan a moral crusader, and at the same time a weak, pitiful woman being bullied by the likes of Bill O’Reilly, Fox News in general, and Mike Gallagher. But for some strange reason, they’ve shied away from the fact that Sheehan’s world is crumbling all around her. Justifiably because of the loss of her son a year ago, but now because her family has publicly distanced themselves, her husband wants out from their marriage, and she’s lost her job because of absences due to her activism.
Even though her husband is reported to be a Democrat, he seems to have had enough.
But enough of what?
Who Is This Cindy Sheehan?
She’s sympathetically portrayed as an every-mom in this Daisy vs. Goliath Greek tragedy, but it would seem she’s been a hard core lefty all along and now she has the bully pulpit she’s craved.
“This is something that can’t be ignored. They can’t ignore us, and they can’t put us down. Thank God for the Internet, or we wouldn’t know anything, and we would already be a fascist state. Our government is run by one party, every level and the mainstream media is a propaganda tool for the government.”

Then there was this Cindy rant the media has all but ignored, yet if her points are so valid, why not let the American people decide….
“I was raised in a country by a public school system that taught us that America was good, that America was just. America has been killing people… since we first stepped on this continent, we have been responsible for death and destruction. I passed on that bullshit to my son and my son enlisted. I’m going all over the country telling moms: “This country is not worth dying for.”
I’ll let you ponder that prudence for a second….

I wonder why the media has withheld Cindy Sheehan’s eloquence from the American people. She continues on and manifests her intellect in the field of foreign policy….

Ah, the moral equivalent argument between the United States and Iran and Syria. So she’s advocating the nations of Iran and Syria possessing nuclear weapons as a counterbalance to ours. Israel this, Israel that: anti-Semitism is big on college campii thanks to the ravings of all those tolerant liberal professors. To be a good liberal, just blame those Jews… that is, unless you are one.
Remember that this is the group that calls everyone else “racist”.

So Sheehan blames our “Neo-Con” foreign policy for murdering her son instead of the terrorists he chose to go and fight, despite her opposition. That, as I wrote before, seems to be the real issue here. Reading any statement from Cindy Sheehan shows a woman both self-absorbed as well as absorbed by the Democrat ideology of blame-America-first.
Her real beef is that Casey, in his dedication to his chosen profession, his President, and his country, blew her off and that’s what’s hard for her ego to swallow.
According to Cindy Sheehan Foreign Policy 101, if not for our alliance with Israel, the terrorists would leave us alone. As much as she demands another meeting with the President, I would hope she could take the time to meet with all the families of those killed in the many terrorist bombings around the world who aren’t a player in the Arab-Israeli conflict. But alas, she’s too busy protesting in a ditch (she reportedly has a house to sleep in at night but the media’s left that out as well).
And her anti-Israel stance has brought her another valuable ally. I will close by presenting the meritorious opinions of the latest vocal peacenik, David Duke. I know a lot of liberals will whine about my linkage to someone like Duke. That “guilt by association” thing stings, don’t it….

That’s been countered several times by other writers and myself. Also, liberals only care about their own humanitarian rights. Even Howard Dean now says that women were better under Saddam than they are today. Talk about spitting in the blood of our fallen soldiers….

If I’m not mistaken, even David Duke chooses the battles he fights. He can’t kill all non-whites in one day. One lynching at a time is something he’d probably deem more practical.

Saddam Hussein violated numerous United Nations sanctions. He gassed his own people. He sponsored rape rooms. His people starved while he built palaces honoring himself. At the onset of the liberation, he used hundreds of his people as human shields violating articles of the Geneva Convention. His soldiers hid and fought from the homes of civilians.
Yet according to Duke, America is the evil invader.

Another striking example of liberal arrogance. The term “infidel” obviously doesn’t apply to them.

We stand with Cindy Sheehan and the memory of her son which should spur all truly patriotic Americans to demand an end to this war for Israel, this war against America, the Iraq War. It is not Iraq’s borders that need protecting, it is the American border with Mexico! Support our troops… bring them home! Let them protect America and not die for Israel.”

It’s amazing the similarity between the words of David Duke and those of Cindy Sheehan. Also amazing is the similarity between the objectives of the American left and al Qaeda. She obviously uses words that make Osama proud.
They’re a bunch of fucking hypocrites! And we need to, we just need to rise up…
If George Bush believes his rhetoric and his bullshit, that this is a war for freedom and democracy, that he is spreading freedom and democracy, does he think every person he kills makes Iraq more free?
The whole world is damaged. Our humanity is damaged. If he thinks that it’s so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go to this war.
We want our country back and, if we have to impeach everybody from George Bush down to the person who picks up dog shit in Washington, we will impeach all those people.
By the way, I’ll write anything I want about any issue. For me or anyone else to be silent unless the topic is approved by liberal gatekeepers is a great example of PC at work and the fascism liberals constantly decry but advocate when their arguments dare be challenged.
Let this pitiful example of a peace vigil go on as long as it’s comfortable. Winter will be here soon enough.
